Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club Wedding – Gloria and Leon

On Saturday, November 26, 2016 I woke up filled with excitement and anticipation.  Today was Gloria and Leon’s wedding day, and I had big expectations out of these two love birds.  You see, in September, Gloria and Leon graciously invited me into their home to meet and discuss their upcoming wedding.  Gloria greeted me at the door and led me to the study where Leon was waiting.  It was an impressive study…bookshelves everywhere…filled with photos of loved ones.  Especially Gloria.  We sat down and they began to tell me about each other and what they envisioned for their wedding day.  Instantly I could see how much they loved one another.  Even if it was Leon bragging about his brides modeling career as Gloria sat with blushed cheeks begging him to stop.  With knowing this tid-bit and seeing the sweet, fun love between them, I had high expectations for the wedding day.

Before departing, Gloria granted me a tour around their home, showing me where she would be getting ready and asking advise where we could do photos before leaving for the ceremony.  I was filled with ideas and was excited when Gloria had an endless smile upon hearing my vision.  This was the beginning to something truly special.

The day arrived and with my high expectations in tow, I entered their home and was floored when I saw Gloria standing in the foyer.  To say she was stunning is an understatement. “I just want to knock his socks off” she said.  Oh you will my dear….you will blow everyone’s socks off!  All of my expectations were over powered by the beauty and love that surrounded the day.  From the perfect weather and beautiful ceremony, to the golden light the fell upon us during their portraits, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up 2016’s weddings.

Gloria and Leon,

I cannot thank you enough for everything.  You asked me to be a part of such an important day in your lives and it has been an honor getting to know you.  To witness and capture the love you share was inspiring and I’m forever in debt to you for that.  You both warm my heart and I wish you many blessings for years to come.

xoxo,

Kimberly
