It was a crisp, warm spring day in South Korea when Farhana and Ryan met. Even though they had moved there 7 months prior to meeting, it wasn’t until March 9, 2013 that their stars aligned and a group of friends got together downtown. Ryan had a leg up on this get together due to his friend Roger previously meeting Farhana. Roger spilled the beans to Ryan about how beautiful Farhana is and how much fun she is to be around. Upon meeting up with their friends, Ryan instantly noticed Farhana’s smile. With an instant connection, Ryan knew something special was going to happen.
They share a love for travel and it was no surprise that Ryan proposed to Farhana while over seas. Specifically, a rooftop that sat between the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia in Instabul, Turkey. Upon finishing their dessert and tea, Ryan sought out the help of a waiter to take a quick photo of them to remember scenery. After the first photo, Ryan asked for one more and before Farhana knew it, Ryan was down on one knee. With cafe guests surrounding them in cheer and a waiter snapping photos like crazy, Farhana answers “of course!”.
Fast forward to July 2017, the time has come to put all the planning of a fusion wedding to rest and enjoy becoming husband and wife. Loved ones traveled around the world to attend this auspicious occasion. While there are thousands of images being delivered to a couple that deserves all the love in the world, I share with you today a small glimpse of the joy that transpired.
Farhana and Ryan,
I pray these images not only make you flash that gorgeous smile you both have, but that it reminds you of all the love and joy you experienced on your wedding day. I’m beyond honored that I was the first decision you made for your wedding, thank you. Getting to know you both and seeing the love you give is inspiring and a true treasure. Never forget this love you feel!!
A special thank you to the creative team that worked so passionately!
