Cresent Lake Barn Wedding
Tampa Wedding Photography
When I first started photography, weddings never crossed my mind. Wait, I take that back. They crossed and then quickly exited my mind. While people kept telling me I should pursue it, I was dreadfully fearful of screwing up people wedding photos. It’s not like you can run out and have a do over you know?
This fear plays a part of my passion alongside all the happy feelings I get being in the moment, watching for them, and capturing them. I always feel good when delivering a bride and groom their wedding gallery, but when they respond like Jackie did…well, it kinda kicks that fear where the sun don’t shine. 😉
See what Jackie has to say that made me tear up and what great advice for those that are planning a wedding! Thank you Jackie and Rawie for choosing me to be your photographer for all the most special moments in your life!
Kimberly was incredibly helpful with everything! From making us feel at ease so we capture the best moment possible, to hearing our wants and needs and making sure we get everything that we dreamed of.
Plan out exactly the photos you want and give them to Kimberly. Explain any family quirks that might come up like an aggressive father in law who tends to want to call all the shots to groomsmen who will do silly things as the bride walks down the aisle. The more information you give Kimberly, the better photos you will receive back. Think about gifts or any sentimental items that you want to make sure are captured in your photos. Also, think about important people going to be at your wedding all dressed up together that you would like to capture a picture of. I wish I would have thought to take a photo of my sister’s family and my sister in law’s family just them by themselves so I could have framed a picture of them to give as a thank you.
“Kimberly is amazing and beyond any expectations anyone could ever set. Photography was #1 on my list for what I wanted out of a wedding. I sent out over 20 bids to photographer’s around town and Kimberly was the ONLY one who physically called me herself, listened to my wants and then told me how she would execute my day taking my wants into consideration. It was in the those 45 minutes of chatting on the phone that I KNEW I had fallen in love with the photographer of my dreams and I wanted her to capture our wedding. She is so easy to get along with, talk to and feel comfortable with. I am so glad we did an engagement session before, because we got to know one another and how she works and she got to see our comfort level or lack of in certain areas. She made all of the bridal party feel incredibly comfortable and confident by giving instructions and guidance and she kept to a precise timeline that made our whole day run by smoothly. She will forever be my photographer of chose for any major milestone in life!”
