Not all weddings are the same…especially Indian weddings. There is always 1 or 2 things that stand out to me at every wedding that makes them unique. Priya and Suraj, however, took their wedding to the next level.
Priya and Suraj’s Indian wedding on Clearwater Beach at the Hilton was a destination wedding for pretty much everyone in attendance. Therefore, it was super important to the both of them that all of their guests had the time of their life.
As sweet as this is, it was only the beginning. Between a combined haldi that ended with both the Bride and Groom in the Gulf with their closest friends, to dancing the night away on the white sands of Clearwater Beach on Sangeet night, to one of THE MOST EPIC First Look responses by Suraj, to Priya joining the baraat and performing for her future husband with her best girls, to Suraj responding to her performance with one of his own, to becoming one BIG family in the warm breeze of Florida’s coast, to Priya and Suraj joining as husband and wife on the dance floor in front of hundreds of supporting loved ones with sparklers as a back drop, to Suraj’s obsession with basketball and Priya allowing it to be a part of their wedding (including a special wedding hashtag dedicated to a ball)….I mean….there is only ONE thing that can seriously top all of this.
And they NAILED IT.
Their joy. You literally could not wipe the smiles from their faces the entire time. You guys…Indian weddings are long…and stressful….and exhausting for everybody involved. You would have never known this tried and true fact by being around Priya and Suraj on their wedding weekend.
Priya and Suraj,
What can I say friends? Thank you for selecting me to go on this incredible adventure with you and for letting your fun, loving, joyful personalities soar in front of my camera. I can’t imagine a better start to a successful marriage than with the love you expressed for one another on your wedding weekend. May the days you became husband and wife be the worst days of your marriage.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU
