Every time I look at this image I fall in love with it all over again.  Not just because it’s the perfect dress, perfect lighting, perfect linens, perfect hair but because of this gorgeous bride, Blush.  While getting ready the morning of her big day, surrounded by her closest girls, laughter was every where.  Blush’s excitement for the day was intoxicating.  Then there is this one moment…this moment where Blush stands by the window and settles into this pose so naturally.  As I stand across the room with all of her girls behind me, snapping away on their cell phones, the room fell silent.  I look up from my camera to see everyone standing in awe of this vision.  Blush was so beautiful her presence silenced the room.  That my friends is worthy of a tbt.

Happy Thursday!

When I asked Desiree and Mike what their vision was for their engagement session, with hardly a second of hesitation, they said ‘on a golf course’.  Both Desiree and Mike are avid golfers…Mike more so than Desiree, however, Desiree certainly knows what she’s doing out on the green.  We were able to hook up with Innisbrook and timed it just right for the perfect lighting and missing the golfers as we trailed the holes behind them.  The cool front that arrived the day before left us with warm golden sunshine and a breeze that kept Desiree’s curls flowing with perfection.

As we drove around we found different hidden gems all around the course. We played with light and the clubs/golf balls Desiree and Mike had brought…you’ll see those fun photos on their featured engagement session soon!  For now, I had to sneak out this image to you as it has quickly become one of my all time favorite engagement session images.

A shout out to Rick at Innisbrook Golf Resort for helping me coordinate and The Pretty Pioneer for bringing out the gorgeousness of our bride Desiree!

Moments happen all around us in life and during a wedding you can find them in every direction you look. Ones such as Jessica dancing with her ‘step’ father, who is not one to wear his heart out on his sleeve. While dancing with Jessica, his guard was let down. The tears swelled in his eyes, he smiled and all was right in the world. It’s moments like this one that I constantly am searching to capture at each event.
