Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach
If you’re looking for Indian Wedding Traditions to inspire you for your own wedding, then friend…you have hit the jackpot.
Priya and Savan’s wedding is one I’ve been looking forward to for months. Not just because it was taking place at the stunning new Wyndham Grand on Clearwater Beach. Or the fact that I would be working with an incredible creative team, once again. Of course, these things certainly help increase my excitement for capturing events, but there is sooooo much more to this story then talented creatives and a pretty location.
I’m about to tell you 2 small words that are larger than life. This Family. This family sets such high standards of what truly loving, supportive, and respectful humans can be. After specializing in Indian weddings since 2010, I’ve seen a mix of family reactions to an American photographer walking into their events. I could probably write a book filled with how I’ve been treated from absolute kindness to feeling worse than ‘hired help’.
This family sets itself apart for endless reasons. Luckily for me, this is my second wedding for the Panara family so pretty much everybody here knew me, trusted me, and showed me they did. I was welcomed back with open arms and huge smiles. It doesn’t end there though. The Shah family, who didn’t know me had the same reaction. I was welcomed and respected with such love and grace. This response from those in attendance of each event creates an environment where pure joy literally bounces off everyone. What does that environment provide? Real reactions, for real emotions that create personal images that you will cherish forever. When you trust your creative team, you get to deeply enjoy your wedding. That my friends is so, so, so important.
Priya & Savan,
You had the option to select anyone you wanted to work with for your wedding. To say I’m honored you choose me is the understatement of the year. It has been such a joy to watch your families come together from all over to love and support you. Your love for one another was pretty obvious during your engagement session, but to watch you become husband and wife. Wow. The unconditional love and faith you have in each other is admirable. Congratulations to you both for I know your journey in marriage will bring you many blessings.
Oh, and thank you for your impeccable style. That has been just too much fun to capture!!!
